We are excited to welcome new faculty this coming Fall (2024)!
Orientation will focus on engaging new faculty in a collaborative learning experience focused squarely on student success, 社区建设, and exploration or campus resources for both faculty and news 学生.
- Highlight critical information about the university, guiding new faculty to construct for themselves a greater understanding of (a) the mission, 愿景, and values of 大峡谷州立大学, (b) what is meant by student success, and (c) the hallmarks of a successful new faculty experience
- Model learner-centered teaching strategies (including interactive discussions, 从实践经验中学习, 案例研究, 专题选择)
- Foster a sense of community and build relationships among new faculty
- Motivate new faculty to see themselves contributing to a supportive, collaborative campus community

Summer Book Club: The Campus Novel
The campus novel is a subgenre of fiction spotlighting the human comedy of academic life. 无论你在哪里，在海滩上, 海外, in your office toiling away—join us Fridays in July 3:00-4:00pm in Zoom to talk about a book.
